Sincerest thank you to everyone for writing such lovely responses to your experience of this little sanctuary. They become part of the nourishment of the place itself, and are a pleasure to share ...

"The real deal ..."

This is the most beautiful, peaceful setting on the slopes of Mount Gabriel to learn the art of Qigong. We have been having lessons with Peter for more than three years. He is an exceptional teacher, working with skill and patience, always finding new ways to explain the basic concepts and building on these concepts to expand our knowledge and understanding
of Qigong. We are both medical doctors and so are trained in very different ways of approaching the body; however, we have found this teaching of profound benefit to our own practice and journey in life. We could not recommend his school more highly.

This is the real deal.
Peter has trained all his life in the art of Shaolin and other Chinese and Eastern systems. This is not your typical display WuShu, but rather the inner teachings from Shaolin. There's a deep emphasis on inner development, physical, mental and spiritual.
I personally learned so much from Peter. This is REALLY well worth exploring.

I have loved every minute of my stay on and in your awesome property. There is peace in my heart as I sit here by the window looking out on the natural beauty. Thank you for your kindness and caring, Peter, it has been much appreciated.

Peter brings decades of diligent practice to every moment spent under his expert eye. After nearly three years of Qigong practice I’m able, both physically and mentally, in ways I thought were long gone or beyond repair. As a physical therapist this means a rejuvenation and a sense of new life. It’s an honour to share his artful treasure and benefit from his clear, practical steps.
Deep gratitude.

I look forward to welcoming you to West Cork, to the Wild Atlantic Way, and most particularly to Tearmann an Choill Bheag, the Little Forest Sanctuary.
Whether you're interested in Qigong, or traditional Shaolin Kung Fu, as a beginner or indeed a well worn practitioner ...
... or if you just want to get away from it all, and let the place work its magic, do get in touch. Hopefully you'll be adding your voice to those already shared, reflecting your own experience of this Wild Atlantic Sanctuary.
